Winter’s Grip-Day 6

The calendar shows April, the robins are back

The sun is up earlier, much later it fades to black

Across much of Canada it appears winter holds trump

People shiver and shake, not yet over the hump

Winter storm coming here Friday-good day to stay in the sack

  1. There once was a girl named Nelly
Who waded in water up to her knees.
(It would have rhymed but the water wasn’t deep enough)
